In 2008, Annamaria graduated from the University of Portland, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurship. During her time at the private university, Annamaria received the Arthur Schulte Academic Scholarship, was selected for the prestigious Entrepreneur-Scholars program, and worked for a Portland lifestyle magazine as a feature writer.
After graduating and relocating to New York City, Annamaria joined Manning Selvage & Lee, the acclaimed global public relations firm, as a member of their Consumer Beauty Practice. Following her time at MS&L, Annamaria pursued her long-held passion for fashion and joined a boutique fashion PR agency in Manhattan, where she worked alongside some of the industry’s most successful designers and artists. While working in the city, she was cast in an MTV pilot as part of the re-branding team for an international clothing brand.
Her time with MTV catapulted her interest in the entertainment industry and following the wrap of production she began a career as an on-camera host and correspondent. Annamaria lends her dynamic personality to a variety of news outlets and can be found hosting interviews on the red carpet for NY events like the TV Land Awards. She can also be seen as a contributor for Bleacher Report and NBC Sports’ coverage of the NHL All-Star Game and NFL Draft. A fixture at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Annamaria reports from backstage at the Spring/Fall shows and from the red carpet for the Annual Style Awards; interviewing celebrities, athletes, and designers. Her work as a fashion correspondent was recognized by the CW hit show ‘Gossip Girl’ when she was featured in a cameo appearance during the Fashion’s Night Out episode. Her cameo was featured a second time in the show’s finale special “New York, I Love You XOXO.” Annamaria’s previous professional experience and education have allowed her to move seamlessly from the glamour of the tents to her position as a correspondent for some of NYC’s hottest tech events, and her role as the host for gaming powerhouse THQ’s launch of “Homefront” for Xbox.
Annamaria has also appeared in various independent films and music videos, including a lead role in an international film race competition entry, that was chosen as a top finalist. She can also be seen in the controversial lead role of the Fortunate Ones’ HOWL video, airing on MTV.
