Megan Kaltenbach of Aurora, Colorado is a full-time model living in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan. Before making her way to the Big Apple, Megan attended the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. The School of Journalism is nationally recognized as one of the top 10 in the country. A standout student-athlete while in college, Megan was a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Honor Roll, made Dean’s List and was given the Athletic Director’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2007-2008 academic year.

While not in the classroom, Megan was a Track and Field star for the Tar Heels, winning back-to-back National Championships in the Distance Medley Relay. During her senior year, the Relay Team set the American Record. As an individual, Megan was a 2-time All-American and a 7-time All-ACC performer. She twice received the Joe Hilton Coaches Award, as voted on by the Track & Field coaching staff, and was a Team Captain for 3 years.

Prior to matriculating at UNC, Megan had a spectacular Track career back home in Colorado. In High School she won 4 National Championships and15 State Championships, while being named the Colorado Sports Woman of the Year in 2001, 2002 and 2003. In 2003 Megan was the Colorado High School Athlete of the Year, and was inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

An injury to her Achilles that required surgery gave Megan the opportunity to explore modeling, and she hasn’t looked back. Megan plans to continue modeling and with her prestigious athletic background, hopes she can one day be a Reporter or Host with a sports network.
