If you thought skateboarding was only for the West Coast, think again, in a city nicknamed the concrete jungle it only makes sense that its turning out some of the world’s most talented and innovative street skaters.

Corporate Profile host Annamaria Chen brings viewers to Brooklyn to check out Homage Skateshop and Indoor Training Facility where many of the local skaters shop and train.

Annamaria meets up with Co-Owner Michelle Sauer to learn the history behind one of NYC’s best skate shops, learns out how to pick the right skateboard from Co-Owner Jose Portes, and then heads to the indoor TF to learn the basics of boarding from New York Skate Academy instructor, Mike Crowley.
