Most New Yorkers are very familiar with the Big Apple Circus, it has come to town for the past 40 years taking over Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park, but what they aren’t familiar with is what it’s like for the 30 performers who travel with the Big Top for seven months out of the year. Host Annamaria Stewart sits down with Estefani Evans, of ‘The Flying Tunizianis’ trapeze troupe, to see what life is like when you run away and join the circus. Annamaria also takes a behind the scenes tour with Big Apple Circus Chairman, Neil Kahanovitz, to see where the performers and crew eat, sleep, and prep while on the road.
